It was a cross country romance that started at the most idyllic place… 1111 Love Street. That’s where Laticia and Greg first met. She is from California. He is from Florida. She was in town for a few days on business. A mutual friend encouraged them to meet up and one thing led to another. They managed to make their 2500 mile, long distance relationship work and just being around them, you can definitely feel their love.
Coincidentally, both of their last names end in “H”. I found this awesome letter H at Anthropologie over the weekend and thought it would be a fun prop. It was!!! This letter H may make an appearance at their wedding and maybe later in their future home when Laticia moves to Florida. I have to add that it weighs about 20 pounds. At least that’s what it felt like lugging it through the mall.
A little friendly power struggle…
but in the end, the girl always wins. Right?!

And they lived happily ever after!

Until next time,
Jennifer

So what do you do with your dress after the wedding and you have to travel half way around the world to get home? Have a trash-the-dress session of course! Brittany did not want to travel back to Japan with her bulky wedding dress, so about six months ago we talked about doing this session. She knew she wanted beach, waves and rocks. The weather was beautiful and we couldn’t have chosen a better location.

Brittany laughs like this, like, ALL the time!
Steven was totally trying not get wet. That didn’t last very long! …and Brittany with her contagious smile.

In case you missed it, check out the photos from the bridal session.
Until next time,

The Janie and Jack mini sessions are over! It was a great experience and I truly enjoyed getting to meet so many cuties and their parents. I normally don’t do studio settings, so when I was contacted to be the photographer for Janie and Jack’s Spring photography event, I welcomed the challenge. It was a great turnout! I had 32 sessions in 2 days. The little guy below helped me test out my lighting. He happened to be at Janie and Jack while I was setting up and his mom so graciously allowed me to photograph him. Thank you, Jamie!
Get ready for some adorable little ones! I’ll be posting about 30 images in total by the time I’m done.

Until next time,
Jennifer

February 23, 2010Everything is better with a smile. =) Here are sneaks from my session with the “M” family. The first time we got together a few weekends ago, Baby Bree was just not into it so we decided to reschedule. This time she got a good nap in and was ready to go. She was full of smiles this time and in such a happy mood. Love these photos!

Sneak Peek: Tookie | Jupiter Child Photographer
February 18, 2010When I was down in Hollywood a few weekends ago for the Sow A Seed fundraiser, I spent some time with Kat Braman’s little guy, Tookie. He’s adorable and so much fun. I have to admit, I do get a little “childish” at times when photographing the little ones. Anything to get a smile and some laughs. We ran around the back alley, played peek-a-boo behind walls and even had a sec for some rock art on the street. Here are some photos of our quick 10 minute session:
Yes, there was even a little dancing in the street…

Cheers,
Jennifer

February 3, 2010Had to share these. What a beautiful young family. I woke up early in the morning for this session and it was the foggiest day ever! It was so thick! I thought we were going to have to reschedule, but we decided to go for it. By the time we got to the location, the fog melted away and it turned into the perfect day. Little B had plans of her own. We weren’t long into the session when she decided it was nap time so we called it a day.

I think my favorite part was watching Daddy interact with his precious baby girl. So much love in his eyes. It was really sweet!

Cheers,
Jennifer

January 9, 2010You may remember this cutie from a few weeks ago. I had the pleasure of photographing this gorgeous little girl again, but this time with her whole entire family. (Those photos will be up soon.) We had some time before the group photo and I took full advantage of it. She looks like she belongs in a children’s clothing catalogue. Don’t you just love those pants?!

Cheers,
Jennifer

December 31, 2009My very last session of 2009! What a fun one it was, too! The family flew in from all over – Rochester, Boston and Chicago – to spend some time in Jupiter for the holidays. I had the pleasure of photographing them at “their” beach. =) They were such troopers! It was crazy windy, but we had a really fun session. I even put Dad and John to work. Thanks for toting my equipment around for me and manning the umbrella between takes!
I hope you all have a very Happy New Year!!!!!!

Cheers,
Jennifer
